Applications for WALK-IN INTERVIEWS are invited for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme in Electrical Engineering starting from July 2012 with the following faculty members:

Candidates are encouraged to go through the web pages of the faculty members  to understand the detailed  research activities carried out by the respective faculty members. 


Candidates should apply only to the concerned faculty members based on their interest. 


Eligibility criteria for prospective candidates:


1) B.E./B.Tech. in relevant discipline with an overall minimum aggregate of 70%, and having a valid GATE score.


2) M.Sc. in Physics/Electronics/Material Science with an overall minimum aggregate of 70% at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, having a valid GATE score.


3) M.E./M.Tech. in relevant discipline with an overall minimum aggregate of 70% at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, for Indian degree-holders; for others based on equivalent or as determined by the Institute Eligibility Committee.


Application form (as attached in Annexure-I) should be sent by email to the faculty member whom you are interested to work with. There is no application fee. It should be noted that mere satisfaction of the eligibility criteria does not ensure the candidate to be  called for written test/interview.


Only short listed candidates shall be called for the interview and/or written test at IIT Indore. 


Applicants are requested to carry two passport-sized photos, original and one photocopy of all their certificates, mark sheets, valid identity card, recommendation letters, GATE score card and other relevant documents at the time of interview.
