1. Visiting Scientist/Research Associate:
Qualification: PhD degree in Sociology
2. Assistant Professor:
Qualification: a) PhD degree in Sociology and strong academic record b) 3 year’s Post-doctoral Research and/or teaching experience (relaxable in exceptional cases)
3. Associate Professor/Professor:
Qualification:
a) Ph.D. degree in Sociology and consistently strong academic record
b) For Associate Professor: 6 Years’ research and/or teaching experience in the post of Assistant Professor; For Professor: 12 years’ research and teaching experience with 6 years’ in the post of Associate Professor or equivalent (relaxable in exceptional cases)
