Senior Non Commissioned Officer in the Group 'X' (Education Instructor): Qualification:  (a) Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science with B.Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government Recognized School/College. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation as well as B Ed.  OR  (b) Post-Graduate in MA English or M.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or MCA with B Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government recognized School/College. Date of Birth Block:  (a) For Graduates: Must be born between 01.10.1987 to 31.08.1992 (Both days inclusive).  (b) For Post-Graduates: Must be born between 01.10.1984 to 31.08.1992 (Both days inclusive) Physical Fitness Test:  All candidates who pass the written test are to undergo Physical Fitness Test on the same or the next day.  PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 8 minutes.  Candidates completing the PFT in less than 7 minutes 30 seconds will be awarded additional marks on a sliding scale.  Candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts. Written Test:  There will be two papers – an Objective type and a Descriptive type.  The Objective type of paper would cover General English, General Awareness and Current Affairs.  The Descriptive type of paper would aim to test the language comprehension and power of expression.  Both of the question papers will be administered in one go with duration of 40 and 35 minutes for Objective and Descriptive papers respectively How to apply:  The Recruitment Test will be held at 1 Airmen Selection Centre, 48 Mansfield Road, Ambala Cantt (Haryana) from 02 July 2012 to 08 July 2012 as per the Selection Programme given below.  The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards every day as per the details given below.  Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test. Date: 04 July 2012 Stream /Activities:  Medical for candidates qualified in Interview  States / UTS to be covered:  States of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Gujarat, Goa And Maharashtra UTS of Chandigarh, Daman & Diu And Dadra & Nagar Haveli Date: 05 July 2012 Stream / Activities:  Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) trade. Date: 06 July 2012 Stream / Activities:  Interview and Test of Teaching Skills of candidates passed Written Test and PFT on 05 July 2012.
