Eligibility Criteria for IBSD PhD programme 2014
The candidate should have the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate should have obtained 55% marks in aggregate (B or B+ only in the 10 point scale) in the Masters Degree Examination in the subject areas of
Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany,
Plant Sciences, Chemistry, Organic chemistry,
Natural Product Chemistry, Zoology, Animal Sciences,
Fish and Fishery Sciences, Physiology and any other relevant branches.
A candidate belonging to SC/ST who has obtained 50% marks in aggregate in Master Degree examination shall be eligible for registration.
CSIR-UGC NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/ICAR-JRF qualified candidates are preferred.
NET/SLET/SET/GATE qualified candidates have to appear for the PhD entrance test of the concerned University.
