Scientist ‘B’: 03posts Qualification: Master Degree in Physics, B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/ Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognized university /institution with at least first class not less than 60% marks 4. Scientist ‘B’: 01post Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university/Institution with at least first class not less than 60% marks. 5. Scientist ‘B’: 01post Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognized university/Institution with at least first class not less than 60% marks 6. Scientist ‘C’: 03posts Qualification: (i) Master degree in Geophysics / Geo-Chemistry / Chemistry / Geology or equivalent from recognized University/Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. (ii) At least 3 years experience in research and development, teaching (at Graduate or post Graduate level), in the relevant field. 7. Scientist ‘C’: 05posts Qualification: (i) Master degree in Mathematics / Physics / Oceanography / Atmospheric Sciences / Geophysics or B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent from recognized University/Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. (ii) At least 3 years experience in research and development in the relevant field. 8. Scientist ‘C’: 01post Qualification: (i) B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent from recognized university /institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. (ii) Three years experience in Research and Development/teaching (at Graduate and post Graduate level)/Planning Supervision in the relevant field. 9. Scientist ‘C’: 04posts Qualification: (i) Master degree in Oceanography / Marine Sciences or equivalent from recognized University/Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. (ii) At least 3 years experience in research and development in the relevant field. 10. Scientist ‘D’: 04posts Qualification: (i) Master degree in Geophysics / Physics / Geology / Chemistry / Environmental Sciences / Marine Sciences or equivalent from recognized University/Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. (ii) Seven years experience in Research and Development/ teaching (at graduate or post graduate level) in the field of Cryosphere/glaciology, Marine geophysics/geology. 11. Scientist ‘D’: 03posts Qualification: Master degree in Mathematics / Physics / Oceanography /Meteorology /atmosphere Sciences or Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology from recognized University/Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. (ii) At least 7 years experience in research and development in the field of Atmosphere/Ocean Modeling, data assimilation. 12. Scientist ‘D’: 02posts Qualification: Master degree in Oceanography / Marine Sciences or Equivalent from recognized University/Institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks. (ii) At least 7 years experience in research and development in Marine pollution ESP. in analysis in wide range of chemicals para meters /data base development. 13. Scientist ‘D’: 01post Qualification: (i) B.E/B.Tech in Marine Engineering or equivalent from recognized university/institute with at least first class not less than 60% marks.
