Indian Navy Invites applications from Unmarried male candidates for enrolment as sailors for Mr. (Musician) -2/2012 Batch, interested students and candidates can refer this post for more details and apply. Last date for application is 19-04-2012.

Musician Sailor:  Qualifications: Candidates should have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation examination). Age: Candidates should have been born between: 01 Oct 1991 to 30 Sep 1995 (Both dates inclusive) Physical Fitness Test: Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection. PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk Selection Criteria: Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Musical Screening Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations How to apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with Copies of all relevant certificates, to the Commanding Officer, (for Director of Music), INS Kunjali, Colaba, Mumbai – 400 005 Last date: 19.04.2012 For more details Click here
