Eligibility:  Graduate in Arts, Commerce, Science, and in any other branches of Social Science in the 10+2+3 mode or Graduate in Engineering, Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy and Agriculture. Selection Process:  Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of two-phase admission test.  First phase includes Management Aptitude Test, MAT September 2011, December 2011, February 2012 & May 2012 conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) / CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT. Second phase comprises GD & Viva-voce to be conducted by the Department (Short listed candidates on the basis of written test score will be called for GD & Viva-voce).  Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in GD, Viva-voce and written test taken together.  How to Apply:  Candidates obtain the University application form in person or anybody on his / her behalf from the Burdwan University sales counter at Rajbati, Burdwan till 08-06-2012 on payment of Rs. 150/- in cash and on production of relevant degree mark-sheet between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on all University week days. Request of outstation candidates for sending form by post must reach Secretary, Faculty council (Arts), The University of Burdwan, PO Rajbati, Dist. Burdwan not later than 22.05.2012.  Outstation candidates must enclose attested photocopy of degree mark-sheet, a crossed DD of Rs. 150/- favouring "Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan", payable at SBI, Burdwan, and a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 5/-) envelope.
