GPSC - Goa Public Service Commission invites applications for the recruitment of various posts / jobs under Goa PSC from the eligible candidates. Interested candidates can refer this post for more details and apply. Last date for application is 31-05-2012.

1. Assistant Lecturer in Urology: 01post

Qualification: 

(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 

Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani

2. Senior Consultants:

i. Sr. Ophthalmic Surgeon: 01post

ii. Senior Physician: 02posts 

Qualification: 

(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). 

Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 

(ii) Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned. 

(iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. 

(iv)Knowledge of Konkani

3. Junior Consultants:

i. Paediatrician: 04posts

ii. Gynaecologist: 04posts

Qualification: 

(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956) 

Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. 

(ii) Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. 

(iii) In case of Diploma holders, work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post graduation Diploma. 

(iv) Knowledge of Konkani



4. Bio-Chemist: 01post

Qualification: 

(i) M.Sc. in Bio-Chemistry as a principal subject of a recognized University 

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.



5. Medical Officer: 01post 

Qualification: 

(i) Degree in M.B.B.S from recognized University. 

(ii) Diploma/Degree in Sports Medicine from recognized institution/University. 

(iii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. (iv)Knowledge of Konkani

6. Assistant Geologist: 01post

Qualification: 

(i) M.Sc Degree in Geology from a recognized University OR 

(i) Diploma in Allied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad or its equivalent. 

(ii) 3 years experience in the field. 

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani

7. Assistant Hydrogeologist: 01post

Qualification: 

(i) Post Graduate degree in Geology from a recognized University or equivalent degree from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. 

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani

8. Assistant Director (Welfare of Differently Abled): 01post

Qualification: 

(i) Master’s Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent. 

(ii) 5 years experience in Social Work in any Government recognized Welfare Organization. 

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani
