IIT Kharagpur M.Tech Programs For Teachers & Working Industry Professionals 

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission into M.Tech Programs for the teachers of AICTE recognized programs of Engineering colleges and working industry professionals. Interested candidates can refer this post for more details and apply. Programs:

• M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

• M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

• M.Tech in Information and Communication Technology

Eligibility:

1. Persons involved with teaching at AICTE-recognized degree of engineering colleges & Working Industry Professionals are eligible for admission into the programs.
2. An applicant must have passed in branch B. Tech / MCA specified as listed below, with a minimum of 60% marks in the final qualifying examinations (for SC/ST candidates it is 55%).
3. Electronics and Communication – BE / BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics Instrumentation Engineering
4. Electrical Engineering – BE / BTech. in Electrical Engineering
5. Information & Communication Technology – BE / BTech in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or Master in Computer Application(MCA)

How to Apply:

• For General category candidates Rs. 3000/- and Rs. 1500/- for SC / ST candidates payable by DD drawn in favour of CEP – M.Tech on any nationalized bank payable at Kharagpur.
• Candidate should visit the website http://www.iitkgp.ac.in for the submission of on line application form.

1. Online Application Process Commences From: 10/05/2012
2. Last Date for Submission of Online Application Forms: 15/06/2012
3. Admission Test and Interviews: 14/07/2012
4. Commencement of Classes: 29/07/2012
