NIT-Warangal invites applications for the admissions into PhD programs in various specializations for the academic year 2012 - 2013 from the interested candidates. Interested candidates can refer this post for more details and apply. Last date for application is 08-06-2012.

Ph.D. Programs are offered in the below Areas

• Civil Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electronics and Communications Engineering

• Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

• Chemical Engineering

• Computer Science and Engineering

• Physics

• Chemistry

• Mathematics

• School of Management



Eligibility: 

The Candidates must obey the following requirements who have obtained admission to M. Tech. / M.S. programs through GATE score

(OR)

who have a valid GATE score (qualified in GATE 2011 or2012) are eligible for admission to Ph. D. program.

(OR)

B.Tech. and M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S. in Engineering or equivalent degree with first class (at all levels) with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5 on a 10 point scale grading.

Eligibility for PhD in Management:

Candidates possessing M.B.A. and 

(i) B. Tech. / M.Tech. in any branch of Engineering with a valid GATE Score

OR

(ii) M.Tech. (Admission through GATE score) in any branch of Engineering are eligible for admission to Ph.D. program in School of Management.

Selection Process: Written test followed by an interview
