Note:  Those who have passed UGC-CSIR (JRF) NET / SET / SLET / GATE / Teacher fellowship or equivalent examination or passed M Phil / M Tech / MD / M Pharm or equivalent may directly submit a statement of purpose indicating the area of research interest (not exceeding 1000 words) and appear for the interview. Selection Process: • Selection will be done on the basis of candidates performance in the RET - 2012 followed by personal interview. How to Apply: • Candidates are required to download the prescribed application form from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/  • The application and examination fee is Rs. 100/- which is to be paid at the University cash counter through a Challan obtainable from the University Sales counter at the CU college street campus / Law campus, Calcutta University.  • The duly filled-in and completed application form along with all requisite enclosure documents and photocopy of the Challan of RET examination fee (deposited by the candidate), should be submitted to the Executive Director of the S N Pradhan Centre, latest by May 14, 2012.
