Job details: Director Research (01 Post) Pay band: ( 37400-67000 + AGP of 10, 000/- + 400 Special pay) Qualification & Experience: Essential i. Doctorate degree in any branch of Agriculture/ Veterinary or Allied Sciences. ii. A minimum of 15 years’ experience of teaching and/ or research experience of which at least 07 years should be in the rank of Professor or equivalent in any Agricultural University or Research Institute. Desirable i. Evidence of leadership and outstanding achievements in research and organizing research. ii. Good knowledge of modern Agricultural/Veterinary Educational system. Dean, F.V.Sc. & A.H. (01 Post) Pay band: (37400-67000 + AGP of 10, 000/- + 400 Special pay) Qualification & Experience: Essential Qualification: i. Doctorate degree in any discipline/subject of the concerned Faculty. ii. A minimum of 15 years experience of teaching and research of which at Least 07 years should be in the rank of Professor or equivalent in any Branch of Veterinary Sciences. Desirable Qualification: i. Evidence of leadership and outstanding achievements in teaching and Research. ii. Good knowledge of modern Veterinary Educational system. Professor/Chief Scientist (02 Posts) Pay band: (37400-67000 + AGP of 10, 000/-) Qualification & Experience Essential Qualification: i. Doctorate degree in the subject concerned or in specified related Disciplines as the case may be. ii. 12 years teaching and/or research experience (not below the rank of Assistant Professor) in the concerned subject, out of which 5 years should be in the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent. iii. Good research experience as evidenced by publications. Desirable i. Ability to provide leadership in the subject/discipline. ii. Administrative experience in a teaching/research institution. Assoc. Professor/Sr. Scientist (02 Posts) Pay band: (15600-39100 + AGP of 8000/-) Qualification & Experience Essential i. Doctorate degree in the subject concerned. ii. 7 years’ experience of teaching and/or research in the subject concerned Out of which four years should be in the rank of Assistant Professor or Equivalent. Desirable: Research Experience as evidenced by publications. Asst. Professor/Jr. Scientist (05 Posts) Pay band: (15600-39100 + AGP 6000/-) Qualification & Experience Essential i. High second class Master’s degree (more than 55% marks) or equivalent Postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject. ii. PhD degree in the subject concerned. iii.
