SSC - Staff Selection Commission invited applications for the posts of Jr Grades of Indian Information Service (Group B Non Gazetted) Posts / jobs through all India level examination. Interested candidates can refer this post for more details and apply. Last date for application is 23-05-2012.
Junior Grade of Indian Information Service (Group ‘B’): 134posts
Qualification (As on 01.08.2012):
(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) Diploma in Journalism from a recognized University or equivalent.
(iii) Direct recruitment to posts in Junior Grade of IIS, Group ’B’ shall be made language wise. The candidates must have studied the concerned Indian language up to the Secondary school
Desirable:
Three years experience of Journalistic, Publicity or Public relations work in a Government Department or any Newspaper/News agency
Fee:
Rs. 100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, as per Govt. orders
Scheme of Examination:
The examination will be conducted in two stages: Written Test (300 marks) & Interview (100 marks)
