1. Head Constable (Radio Operator): 100posts 2. Assistant Sub Inspector (Radio Mechanic): 959posts Application Fee:  Candidates need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of crossed Bank Draft/Postal Order in favour of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/Post Office. SC/ST and Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of fee Physical Standard:  Height: 170cms, Chest: 80cms (85cms after expansion) & Weight: Corresponding to Height Method of selection:  The selection shall be held in two phases as under:  A) First Phase: Written Examination:  The written examination of 3hrs duration will be conducted at the selection centers on the date and time fixed by HQ DG BSF. Written examination will consist of the following four parts: Part I: Physics, 60 Marks & Syllabus: 10+2/Intermediate of CBSC/State Part II: Mathematics, 60 Marks & Syllabus: Board of Education Part III: Chemistry, 30 Marks & Syllabus: Board of Education Part IV: English & G K, 50 Marks & Syllabus: Current affairs, History, Geography & General Science (B) Second Phase: Preliminary screening: Physical Efficiency Test: (Ex-service men are exempted from physical efficiency test) 1.6 Km race in 6.5 minutes Long Jump: 3.65Mtrs in three chances High Jump: 1.2Mtrs in three chances Dictation test (in English) - (For HC/RO) only): 10 Marks Personal Interview - 25 Marks for AS1 (RM) and HC (RO) posts Final Medical Examination by BSF Medical Officer: Candidates who qualify all the above tests will be put through a detailed medical examination to assess their fitness How to Apply:  Candidates must download the application format available in the notification and fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post and send it along with copies of all relevant certificates and two self addressed envelopes with Rs. 27/- postal stamp attached, to the address corresponding to the preferred examination centre available in the notification Last date: 27.07.2012 For more details Click here
