Offered Programme:  PhD (Regular/ Sponsored/ Part time categories) Research in the areas of :  • Applied Geology,  • Architecture • Bio-Technology • Chemical Engineering, • Chemistry, • Civil Engineering, • Computer Applications, • Electrical Engineering • Humanities & Social Sciences, • Mathematics, • Mechanical Engineering • Metallurgical Engineering, • Mining Engineering & Physics Eligibility: For PhD degree in Engineering/ Technology:  M.E./M.Tech. Degree in Engineering/ Technology with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA/CPI. For PhD degree in Architecture (and allied areas i.e. Design, Planning, etc.): Master’s degree in Architecture/Design/ Planning or its equivalent with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA/CPI. For PhD degree in Computer Applications, Mathematics, Basic Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration/Management and Social Sciences: Master’s degree in Engineering/ Computer Applications/  Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Statistics/ Art/Humanities (English language teaching)/ Business Administration/Management and Social Sciences  or  M. Phil degree with first class or minimum 60% marks (CGPA 6.5) or equivalent.  The award of scholarship/fellowship/assistantship shall be governed by circular notification issued by Central Government/MHRD from time to time.
