Total No. of Seats: Maximum 15
Eligibility: Candidates who have completed their Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Genomics, Microbial gene technology, Biochemical technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Genetics or equivalent), Medicine, Veterinary and Agriculture from any recognized Indian or Foreign University, with first class or equivalent are eligible to apply. Candidates with M.Tech degrees in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics are also eligible. Candidates with degree in M.Sc. Genomics and candidates those who have qualified CSIR / NET examinations will be given preference. Fellowship: For admitted candidates in Ph.D. Program will be given Rs. 12,000/- p.m + 15% HRA + MA for the initial two years and Rs. 14,000/- p.m + HRA + MA for the third year.
