1. Lecturer in Medicine: 01post
Qualification:
(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Post Graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent.
(iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
2. Assistant Lecturer in Paediatrics: 01post Qualification:
(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable:
(i) Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality.
(ii) Knowledge of Marathi
II. Directorate of Health Services 3. Public Health Dentist: 08posts Qualification:
(i) A degree qualification included in Part I or Part II of the schedule to the Dentist Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
4. Assistant Pharmaceutical Chemist: 01post Qualification:
1) Graduate in Pharmacy and a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 with 3 years experience:
i) in a hospital pharmacy/Government Medical Store in planning the requirements of drugs/medicines, monitoring the distribution/consumption of drugs, manufacturing stock solutions and galenical preparations; OR
ii) in a pharmaceutical industry engaged in the manufacturing and testing of drugs; OR
iii) in a recognized testing laboratory under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, engaged in the testing of drugs; OR
iv) in a Drugs Controller Office engaged in dealing with problems connected with standard of drugs. 2) Knowledge of Konkani.
III. Directorate of Higher Education: 5. Assistant Professor in Commerce: 02posts Qualification:
(i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
(ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor. Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”.
(iii) Knowledge of Konkani
IV. Directorate of Information Technology: 6. Software Engineer: 01post Qualification:
(i) Degree in Engineering/Technology (Computer Science/Electronics and Telecommunications/Information Technology) or Master in Computer Applications or equivalent.
(ii) Knowledge of Konkani
