Total No. of Seats: 44 Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their Post Graduate Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Commerce, Social Sciences, Humanities (excluding Fine Arts & Dramatics), Physical Sciences, Law, Library Science, Technology, Medicine or allied disciplines from University of Calcutta or from other UGC recognized Universities with equivalence clearance from the Registrar’s Office, University of Calcutta. Candidates who are exempted from Written Test under the ‘Regulation for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D. Regulation 2009’ of Calcutta University are required to obtain equivalence clearance from the Registrar’s Office, University of Calcutta. Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduate Degree is required. Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of candidate's performance in the written test, followed by personal interview. How to Apply: All candidates (including those in exempted category) are required to download the application forms from the University Web Site: www.caluniv.ac.in (Admission Notification) and Departmental Website:www.bmcaluniv.org and submit the same to the Office of the Head on or after 7th August, 2012 and on or before 12th October, 2012.
