• Engineering: Fuel / Mineral / Mining / Mechanical / Mining Machinery / Petroleum / Electrical / Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Industrial Engineering and Management / Environmental Science and Engineering / Chemical Engineering • Science: Applied Geology / Applied Geophysics / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Environmental Science • Management • Humanities and Social Sciences: Philosophy and English How to Apply: • The detailed application form (to be filled online), eligibility criteria and information brochure may be downloaded from ISM website at http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/admissions/phd_notice.htm • The filled up application form (hard copy) along with fees of Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 750/- in case of SC / ST / PC candidates) and requisite documents should reach the Deputy Registrar (Exam & Acad.), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad-826004 Applicants are advised to ensure fulfillment of all eligibility criteria, GATE / NET qualified candidates not earlier than 2010 are exempted from appearing in the ISM-JRF Written Examination The ISM - JRF (Ph D, 2012-13, Phase-2) written test for GATE not qualified / NET not qualified / GATE-NET Qualified candidates earlier than 2010 shall be held on 06/01/2013 at Bhubaneswar, Dhanbad, Kolkata, New Delhi, Chennai, Varanasi and Pune
