Course details
Participants of this course will obtain skills required for a successful career in predictive analytics, including the ability to analyze large data sets and to develop modeling solutions to support decision making. Hands on training will be given using SAS enterprise guide and Excel miner.

• Classification methods
• Evaluating classification and predictive performance
• Data exploration and dimension reduction
• Association rules(Market basket analysis)
• Cluster analysis
• Neural nets
• Relational algebra and SQL
Eligibility:
• Working professionals with undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
• Engineering students in 3rd or 4th year.
• MBA Students.
Course fees:
Course fee is INR 15000. For college teachers and students course fees is INR 12000(after concession). The course fees are inclusive of one set of course material, accommodation in student hostel and boarding.
Note that student hostel is neat and clean but facilities in hostel are basic.
Registration procedure:
Applicants have to fill the application form. Course fees has to be paid through Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Hyderabad.
Filled application form along with the Demand Draft has to be sent by post to the course coordinator whose postal address is given below.
The application form along with Demand Draft must reach the course coordinator on or before 17th December 2012. Admission will be done on the first come first serve basis.
Cancellation policy:
A 75% refund will be given for cancellation made on or before 30-11-2012. No refunds will be issued for cancellation made on or after 01-12-2012.
