Punch Operator in the Government Data Centre: 25 posts
Qualification:
(i) Must have passed +2 (Plus two) Higher Secondary Grade Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu; or an equivalent Examination;
(ii) Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting in English and in Tamil by Senior Grade conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu; and
(iii) Must have passed “Certificate Course in Computer Office Automation conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu
Examination Fee:
i) Examination fee Rs.150/- (Examination Fee Rs.100/- + Cost of Application Rs.50/-) (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only)
ii) Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost.
iii) Candidates have also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank or Post Office or Fee Processing Agency
Scheme of Written Examination (Objective Type) and Oral Test:
• Computer Based Test:
Single Paper in General Knowledge (H.Sc. Standard) (100 Items) + General Tamil / General English (S.S.L.C. Standard) (100 Items) (Objective Type), Duration of Examination: 3 Hours & Maximum Marks: 300
• Interview and Record: 40 Marks
