Constituent Colleges: Chaudhary Mahadeo Prasad Degree College (CMP Degree College) Allahabad Degree College (ADC) Eligibility: For admission into LL.B Course candidate who has passed any of the following qualifying examinations either from Allahabad University or any other University recognized by Allahabad University and has secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination: (i) B.A/ B.Com/ B.Sc. (Hons.) Examination, or (ii) B.A / B.Com/ B.Sc. three year degree Course examination in 10+2+3 system, or (iii) B.A/ B.Com/ B.Sc. examination according to 10+2+2 or +3 Rule on or before 1987, or (iv) B.A / B.Com/ B.Sc. examination in the year 1988 or following years according to 10+2+2 or 11+3 system and have passed Bridge Course examination or the post-graduation examination, or (v) B.Sc. (Ag.)/B.E / BTech / MBBS examinations. Age Limit: For General Category, a Candidate seeking admission in LL.B Course must not be more than 30years of age as on 1st July, 2012 For SC / ST / OBC Categories, a relaxation of 5 years in age is permissible as per rules. Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of entrance test merit, followed by counseling, to be conducted under the management of University of Allahabad. Note: Foreign nationals or Non-Resident Indians who have graduated from a foreign university are exempted from the entrance test. In addition, the University will conduct a special process of application and admission for such candidates. How to Apply: Candidate can also submit online form for the LAT-2012 at the website www.auadmission.co.in The prospectus for LAT-2012 is available on the website www.auadmission.co.in Applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC / ST / PH candidates) either through Bank Draft or Bank Challan (downloadable from the University’s website). The duly filled-in downloaded application form along with the DD should be sent to: Director Admission, Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh on or before the below mentioned last date of submission of application form.
