The Department of Social Work, Delhi University (DU) New Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into MA (Master of Arts) in Social Work for the Academic Year 2012 – 2014. Interested candidates can refer this post for more details and apply. Last date for application is 20-06-2012. Eligibility: Candidate who have completed a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (under 10+2+3 year) in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from recognized university is eligible to apply. B.A. (H) Social work students with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply. Those candidates who are appearing final year examination of the Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to SC / ST shall be eligible as per Delhi university rules to pass the minimum marks. PWD candidates shall be allowed 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirement. Candidates belonging to OBC category shall be eligible for admission as per university norms. Selection Process:  Selection of the candidate is done on the basis of candidates performance in the written test, followed by GD and PI to be conducted by the University. How to Apply:  Candidates may obtain the admission bulletin along with application forms from the Department of Social Work, on payment of Rs. 650/- (Rs. 450/- for SC / ST candidates) at Department counter, from April 30, 2012 onwards.  Candidates can also obtain the same through post by sending requisition for application form along with a DD of Rs. 700/- (Rs. 500/- for SC / ST candidates).  The DD should be drawn in favor of Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi. However, application forms can be downloaded from the University's official website: http://www.du.ac.in/ The duly filled in and completed application form along with requisite documents and DD (if applicable), should be submitted latest by June 20, 2012.
