1. Director: 01post
Qualifications and experience:
PhD with a working knowledge of product development in the area of vaccines and diagnostics and their translational realization, experience in the design, implementation, monitoring and management of clinical trials, validation and challenge experiments.
The candidate should be an eminent scientist from India or Persons of Indian origin with a proven scientific record in the area of life sciences and with excellent leadership skills
2. Programme Director (One each for Vaccines and Diagnostics): 02posts
Qualifications and experience:
Ph.D. or M.D. with minimum of 10 years experience in Academia or Industry in the area of Vaccines / Diagnostics
3. Scientists: 03posts
Qualifications and experience:
Ph.D. in any Life Sciences or M.Pharm or M.V.Sc. or M.D. or M.Tech in Biotechnology or its equivalent degree in any convergent science from a recognized University plus a minimum of 5 years in an applied research and/or development environment (Postdoctoral work may serve as experience)
4. Bio-safety specialist: 01post
Qualifications and experience:
M.Sc or M. Tech in Biotechnology or its equivalent degree in any convergent science from a recognized University and should possess minimum 2years experience in running a bio-safety level 3 facility or related work experience
5. Administrative Officer: 01post
Qualifications and experience:
Graduate with Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management or MBA from a recognized Institute/University Two years experience in establishment/ accounts / store, purchase in a Govt. organization in a Public body or an organization of repute
6. Animal House Operating Officer: 01post
Qualifications and experience:
B.V.Sc or M. Sc with interest in lab animal maintenance and two years experience in animal house management.
7. Office Assistants: 02posts
Qualifications and experience:
M. Sc /B. Tech in life sciences or related disciplines
8. Project Associate / Research Technician: 02posts
Qualifications and experience:
Ph.D./M.V.Sc/ M.E./M.Tech with 3 years research and development experience in vaccines or diagnostics in Science or Medical or Engineering subjects
9. Computer specialists/programmers: 01post
Qualifications and experience:
M. Sc / B. Tech in Bioinformatics / computer science / Information technology or Diploma in Computer Applications, Proficiency in Office Automation, Knowledge in
English and Tamil Typing with a minimum speed of 35 w.p.m on computer
10. Laboratory /Animal attendant: 10posts
Qualification: 10th pass
