Avinashilingam University (Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women) Coimbatore invites applications from the eligible candidates for Entrance Exam to B.E. courses for the Academic Year 2012 – 2013. Courses:  Computer Science and Engineering Information Technology Electronics and Communication Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering Food Processing and Preservation Technology Printing Technology Eligibility: Candidates born on or after July, 1991 are eligible, in the case of SC, ST, PH candidates the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years i.e., who were born on or after 1st July, 1986 are eligible to apply for AEEE 2012. Candidates appearing for the 12th examinations in March / April 2012 are also eligible to apply. A pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Biology / Computer Science. At least 50% marks in above subjects taken together (45% incase of reserved category). For B.E. (Lateral Entry) Admission:  The candidate should have passed diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. How to Apply:  Application forms and prospectus will be available at the office on payment of Rs. 600/- by cash or by post by sending a request to the Registrar along with a DD for Rs. 650/- (For SC / ST students only Rs. 300/- by cash or Rs. 350/- by post on production of attested Xerox copy of community certificate) drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Avinashilingam Institute of Home Science and Higher Education for Women”, payable at Coimbatore or can be downloaded from the website: www.avinuty.ac.in Important Dates:  Last Date for Submission of Application Forms: 15/04/2012 AIEEE is On: 21/04/2012 For more details Click here
