Fireman: 14posts Qualification: i) Matriculation ii) Must have completed basic course on elementary fire fighting i.e. the duration of the Basic Fire Fighting course will not be less than six (6) months and Institutes offering Basic courses on Fire Fighting should be recognized by State Government/Government of India 2. Durwan: 07posts Qualification: Matriculation or Equivalent Physical Test: for fireman a) Height without Shoes 165Cms b) Chest (Unexpanded) 81.5cms and Expanded 85Cms c) Weight 50Kg Minimum and for Durwan a) Height without Shoes 165Cms b) Chest (Unexpanded) 77cms and Expanded 82Cms c) Weight 45Kg Minimum Examination fee: A crossed Indian Postal Order or demand draft from any Nationalized Bank worth Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty Only) draw in favour of General Manager Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu How to apply: The application should be made on plain paper either neatly hand written or typed as per the prescribed format and two copies of self signed pass port size photographs should be enclosed and send to The General Manager, Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, Nilgiris District, Pin code-643 202.
