Maximum of 10 seats per specialization may be filled using GATE score (Direct admission without test). Interested candidates can refer this post for more details and apply. Last date for application is 20-05-2012. However, written exam and a programming exam in its campus on June 16th for the rest of the seats. Courses Offered: M Tech (CSE) in the following CS / IT areas: Information Security, Data Engineering, Mobile Computing M Tech (ECE) in the following CS / IT areas: VLSI & Embedded Systems Eligibility: For M.Tech in CSE: The minimum eligibility criterion for this program is BTech./ B.E. in CS / IT / ECE / EE or 70% or distinction. Candidates must have proper foundations in algorithms and theory, good programming skills, in particular, systems programming, and ability to work hard. Requirements may be relaxed for candidates with relevant experience in the area of security, database, or mobile computing. MCA / M.Sc. (CS / IT / ECE) degree is considered equivalent to the BTech / BE degree. Such students are also eligible to apply with the condition that in their undergraduate (i.e. B.Sc.) they should have Mathematics as one of the courses. The marks requirement is same as that given above for BTech / BE degrees. For M.Tech in ECE: The minimum eligibility criterion for this program is BTech. / B.E. in ECE / EE or 70% or distinction. Candidates must have good foundations in electronics and communications with enhanced problem solving capabilities. Excellent programming skills are an added advantage. Maximum of 10 seats per specialization may be filled using GATE score (Direct admission). M.Sc. (in ECE or allied areas) degree is considered equivalent to the BTech / BE degree. Such students are also eligible to apply with the condition that in their undergraduate (i.e. B.Sc.) they should have Mathematics as one of the courses. The marks requirement is same as that given above for BTech / BE degrees.
