Group B: Non-GATE candidates Candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria (Degree) having GATE score below qualifying marks or did not appear for the GATE examination. Group C : Sponsored candidates Candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria (Degree) Group C1: Candidates recommended by various ministries of the Central as well as State Governments, Govt. R&D Organizations and Public Sector Undertakings. Group C2: Candidates from the industries and the teachers from private institutions with valid GATE score. Group C3: Candidates from the industries and the teachers from private institutions without valid GATE score or did not appear for the GATE examination. Candidates of groups B and C should submit the completed separate application form department-wise (can be downloaded from website), along with the attested copies of the required documents and crossed DD / Bankers Cheque of amount Rs. 1500/- for Open, OBC, Minority and Rs 1200/- for SC / ST (non-refundable) towards processing fee drawn in favour of  The Director, VNIT, Nagpur payable at Nagpur and must send to Dy.
