Karnataka Biotechnology & Information Technology Services (KBITS) invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission into post - graduate diploma in specialized areas of biotechnology for the Academic Year 2012 – 2013. Eligibility:
Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Master's Degree (from Universities of the State or any other University recognized as equivalent) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or any other Life Science related courses or B.E. / BTech. in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics; Bachelor of Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary, MBBS and BDS are eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared for M.Sc. / B.E. final exams may also apply. Fellowships: Rs. 5,000/- per month will be provided by the Dept. of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, for the candidates selected. Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of Online Entrance Test (KBAT) followed by an interview. • KBAT – 2012 (Online Exam): 06th and 07th of August, 2012
• Results of online exam: 09/08/2012
• Interviews at Bangalore: 23rd and 25th August, 2012
• Final Results with Seat Allotment: 31/08/2012
• Course Commencement: 15/09/2012
